Student Religious Moderation Contest at Indonesian Islamic Universities

Students' religious attitudes towards the state are still considered low, and there even some students who refer to as toghut. However, student's moderation is actually key in realizing tolerance both at national international levels. The purpose of this study investigate perspective moderate group on commitment Islamic universities. This uses a qualitative method descriptive analysis with data collection techniques form interviews, observations, document studies. results showed that among Religious Education, Faculty Religion, Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta, did not have negative connotation. Students tawasuth attitude extreme left right more open accepting arguments.
